3D Printing Nerd

I love Disneyland, and in this video I am 3d printing the Haunted Mansion plaque. The plaque was modeled thanks to reference photos and photogrammetry! WATCH OUT FOR THE HAT BOX GHOST!

The gasket that goes between my garbage disposal and my sink failed, and the store to go get a new one was closed. I was able to model a new one in Fusion 360 and print it in flexible filament on my ZYYX 3d printer. I thought it would be cool to show my process, so I grabbed my GoPro and filmed it all!

Vases are cool, and a great way to show off your 3d printer. Devin at Make Anything creates some of my favorite vases, and in one of his latest models, creates one for dual color printing!

I got the chance to try out the Olsson Ruby nozzle thanks to Shop3d.ca – they sent it and some Fiber Force Nylon CF filament. How did the Ruby nozzle perform? Have a watch and find out 🙂

I get asked all the time about which 3d printer is best to buy, or which printer is better between two options. There is SO much to take into account, and we need a better metric to initially compare 3d printers.
