Will a 3d printed record player work? Mark Rhodes is visiting from Australia. He designed a 3d printable record player. I printed the parts, he brought the electronics. Let’s get this together and take it to a record shop to see if it really works!

Danielle Boyer uses 3d printing to help with her electronics and robotics kits to bring STEAM education to kids who might not otherwise be able to see it. Through her STEAM Connection outreach, she brings joy to kids with robots they build and electronic kits they assemble!

The Polysmooth filament from Polymaker can be smoothed with isopropyl alcohol in their Polysher machine. Does it smooth enough take paint? Here I give it a test and find out just how much models are smoothed.

Our friends at Siemens heard about the OpenRC car breaking it’s axles, and they offered to help us fix the problem – by 3d printing new ones in STAINLESS STEEL. It’s AMAZING.

We walk through and test Raise Cloud – it’s cloud based print farm software. It’s FREE, and very soon it’ll work with non-Raise3D printers. I take you through the web based interface and give you a tour of what it can do, then David and Sean kick off some real-world 3d printing scenarios.

While at the East Coast RepRap Festival I received a number of envelopes and a wad of cash, all for donation! Let’s throw that cash in the block, and open those envelopes!

We stop by the Dynamism booth at CES this year, and they showed us the NEXA3D resin 3d printer. It prints at ONE LAYER PER SECOND. That’s nuts! It’s that fast, and the quality is perfect!

The Artillery3D GENIUS 3d printer is a low cost machine that packs a lot of features. Does the GENIUS … make the grade? 🙂 Here is my review!

The DEXTER robotic arm from Haddington Dynamics is a 7 axis, mostly 3d printed, tool changer, open source, fpga controlled, work of art. The precision that DEXTER can attain is amazing to watch in person. I spoke with James at CES 2020 about DEXTER HDI and what this wonderful piece of tech could do.
