3D Printing Nerd

I get asked how I film my videos and what I film them with. I go into detail in this video! I use a Canon VIXIA HFG10 and a Sennheiser G2 lav mic for the recording. I process the footage in Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects.

I shot some timelapse footage tonight while printing the NerdHQ 2015 logo. The full logo print video will be up in the next day or two. For now, I thought you would enjoy this timelapse.

I printed this Hawkmoon gun on commission for a friend of mine who said, “Can you print a Hawkmoon for me?”.

My 3D printer had some issues with skipping type motions on the X and Y axis. Anyone else seen this?

I’m a huge fan of The Nerd Machine. They put on NerdHQ during San Diego Comic Con, and NerdHQ is where my daughter got to ask Matt Smith if he was scared of the Weeping Angels. My wife has a white board that wouldn’t stay on the wall. It fell one last time before she was fed up and asked me to 3D print a solution. I used OpenSCAD to design a set of brackets that would hang the white board from a few picture hangers.
