Halloween is fast approaching, so here are some easy, quick, fun, and free models for your 3d printer to spice up the Halloween in your house!

The Wombot Exilis XL from Aurarum in Australia is finally here! It’s been a long time since we first talked about getting it, and now that we do have it, it’s easy to see there have been some upgrades. Follow along as I take the printer out of the box, get it set up, and put it through it’s first use.

Angus at Maker’s Muse created a few test cubes designed to be 3d printer torture tests. The cubes consist of a lattice structure that can be difficult for some printers to print. I 3d printed 5 of them, ranging from extremely small to gmax-sized huge!

Daniel Noree is known for 3DBenchy and the OpenRC project. Now, one of his latest models is the Furry Vase – a model that tells the printer to bridge outward, then come back to create soft plastic loops that drape over the model. Quite neat!
