The UP Box+ 3d printer from Tiertime looks like a beat of a machine. It’s an ABS slinging fully enclosed battle station. However, how will it work with non-PLA filaments? Is the auto leveling problematic? With the non-perforated build plates work as well as the perforated build plates?

Practical 3d printing is all about making useful things with your 3d printer. In this episode, I use Fusion 360 to create a 3d model of a part that broke on my refrigerator, then print it on my Ultimaker 3 using Taulman Nylon filament.

Travis over at A Pyro Design has been hard at work at the next great offering, and here it is. Custom faceplates for the Ultimaker 3d printers! Of course, he plans to offer designs for more printers in the future. Right now, the Ultimaker 2 / 2+ was first.

KatJes has themselves the Magic Candy Factory – it’s a 3d printer manufactured by Printrbot that 3d prints CANDY! Delicious gummy candy! In this stream, I test it out and see what all the fuss is about.
