The Prusa Multi Material Upgrade is an interesting concept, and it has it’s positives and negatives. I show off some multi color models, and talk about what you can expect if you own an MMU.

Kato is well known within the Steampunk community, and she reached out to me to add 3d printing to her impressive maker skillset. I answer the call, and thanks to Prusa Research, get her going with a 3d printer. What I did NOT know was that she had a fun little surprise for me as well!

Juri (@3dworkbench) modeled swords that Thor uses in Thor Ragnarok. They are 100% 3d printed, and awesome. Using Prusa i3 mk2s, Ultimaker 2+, Ultimaker 3, Proto Pasta, and Polyalchemy!

I had the chance to catch up with Josef at World Maker Faire, and we got to chat about the new Original Prusa i3 mk3 3d printer just released. The feature set is incredible, and you can clearly see he and his team have been hard work work perfecting one of the best printers on the market.

On the VLOG, I talk about the Robo R2 and the video I just shot on it. I preview the BuildTak on the Prusa machine (it’s coming!), I show the dual color Octopus from the Formbot TREX2+, and finally we get the Hawk 3D Proto filament printing on the Ultimaker 2+ with the Olssen Ruby nozzle!
