3D Printing Nerd

The Pythagorean cup is an interesting thing to read about, and now you can 3d print it! Pythagoras was known for his theorem, but, don’t forget, he had a cup that siphoned wine onto your lap!

Thanks to BCN3D and Matterhackers, I have the awesome Sigma R17 for review! The unboxing went well, as the printer itself was packed great. The filament buckets were missing the nuts, but I was able to find a crafty solution.

Devin at the Make Anything channel made this awesome twist containers that satisfyingly slide into each other. He made a special big version for me to print, and I printed it on the Raise3D N2+ using Raise3D PLA filament. Each container is over 51cm tall, printed at 0.2mm layer height in vase mode using Simplify3d!

NewMatter sent over the MOD-t 3d printer for me to evaluate and review. My daughter Rylee helped me unbox the printer, and I was able to get it setup and print my first thing with it.

Is this a world record? I think this is the worlds largest hairy lion 3d print! Makeshaper sponsored the print with a 2.25kg roll of PLA, and I printed this on the gCreate gMax 1.5XT+ 3d printer.

I’m now able to finalize my review of the Lulzbot TAZ6 3d printer, and WOW. The Lulzbot TAZ6 performs extremely well, and it’s supported well from a great company. What is my final recommendation for the printer? Watch and find out 🙂
