Moms usually love flowers and moms love Lego. Why not combine the love of both into an incredibly awesome Mother’s Day gift? Plus, while you’re at it, why not 3d print the largest Lego flower?

Enabling the Future is an organization that helps connect people with 3d printers to those that are in need of 3d printed prosthetics. It’s a wonderful organization, and this Raptor Reloaded model is from them.

The Zortrax m200 3d printer I have is out of service at the moment because one of the wires going to the heat bed is frayed. Take this as a reminder to always check your 3d printer and make sure it’s running in to shape.

Bathroom humor is not lost on me, I promise. When I found this sign saying “Extruding” while showing someone on the toilet, I *KNEW* I had to print it. So I did. Twice. At least.

ZYYX sent over their 3d printer for me to get some usage on AND give my opinions on. Right away, I could tell it was packed with care. It didn’t work right out of the box – but that was from a cable coming loose during shipping. Fix took minutes, and it was up and running in no time. How well did the first print go? Have a watch and find out.
