I found a model on Thingiverse for the Elder Wand from the Harry Potter franchise. I decided to print this on the Zortrax in an orientation not commonly used for detail. This video shows one of the capabilities of the Zortrax m200 and, sadly, one of it’s downfalls.

In this weeks edition of Fan Mail Friday, I go through the largest haul of fan mail I’ve seen yet! Everyone sent some amazing things my way, and I’m blown away by it all!

I used Separate Connected Surfaces in Simplify3D get a really cool rocket ship model to 3d print right.

Itchypig offered up an incredible 3d printed Hawkmoon gun from Destiny, and I was the one to hold a contest to give it away.

It’s once again time to open up some fan mail! I really love getting stuff from my audience, and this is one of the ways I choose to show my appreciation!

I review the Lulzbot Mini 3d printer. Plus, I show off some prints made with the printer, and give you an idea of what I think about the printer. It’s good stuff, you should watch.

There is an awesome model on Thingiverse called “Robber Rex”, and I decided to use that model as a way to show off Proto Pasta and Colorfabb exotic materials. I’m printing with Proto Pasta carbon fiber PLA and stainless steel PLA. I’m also printing with Colorfabb Bronzefil PLA.
