Angus from Maker’s Muse created a Top 3 Useful 3D Prints video, and that got me thinking about what I have printed that is practical and useful. So, here is my Top 5 Useful / Practical 3D Prints!

I saw a lot of people get their very first 3d printer this Christmas. I remember getting mine two years ago, and I could have used a list like this. If you just got a 3d printer, this is a good list. If you’ve been printing for a while, this is remedial, but has some good points you shouldn’t forget.

I printed the holiday torture cube from Makers Muse on the Form 2 SLA printer. Now, it’s time to clean up the supports. I thought you might like to see that.

The Ultimaker 3 has two extruders, so you’re able to do cool things like use PVA supports, and 3d print models designed with dual extrusion in mind. In this video, I talk about dual extrusion and taking advantage of the properties of the individual materials.
