I collaborated with Matterhackers and Carbide3D to make this HUGE HIGHFIVE sign! It’s CNC milled wood, with tinted epoxy resin poured in, and 3d printed logos added! It turned out great, and I’m LOVING playing with resin! I already have some awesome ideas!

While visiting Materials Solutions in the UK, I got to learn about a couple 1920 Ruston Hornsby car Siemens UK were restorying. Thanks to some 3d scanners, some cad software, and some highly talented people, they are able to replace functioning metal parts on the car – parts made in 1920 that you cannot find anymore! COOL!

IVI 3D from Shenzhen is a startup 3d printer company launching a Kickstarter soon. I got to meet them at CES 2019, and after CES, they brought the printer TO ME to play with! I had it for a few days, and got some prints – HAVE A LOOK!

We were invited out to Boston to visit Gillette at World Shaving Headquarters to talk about Razor Maker, where it came from, and how they go about 3d printing all those custom razor handles.

CES 2019 is OVER! One highlight that sticks out is a 3d printing pen that uses chocolate! How crazy is that? Also, the Dexter arm from Haddington Dynamics, the iRacing Sim, Hypervsn, Formlabs turning me into a zombie, the IVI 3d Printer, and NewBeeDrone FPV radio controlled fun!

I’m going to CES 2019! I’ll be there a couple days, so let’s break down what tech I’ll have in my bag, which companies booths I’m looking forward to visit, and who I’m excited to see there!
