3d printing a companion cube from Portal! I love that game, and being able to print a companion cube is so, so cool! I started with a model I found on Thingiverse: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:13588 From there, I used Simplify3D to size it and slice it, then I sent the gCode to my gMax 1.5 XT printer. I printed at first using Colorfabb Glow Green PLA/PHA and did the final cube in Colorfabb Bamboo Fill PLA/PHA. The time lapse segments are filmed on my GoPro Hero3.
