3D Printing 101: What Is a Wipe Wall or Ooze Shield?

When 3d printing with a dual extrusion capable printer, the chance are you are printing with either two different colors or two different types of materials. In both cases, you should look into using an “Ooze Shield”. The wall will protect your model from getting color bleed!

The Ooze Shield I show off here was made in ideaMaker on the Raise3D N2+, though, I’ve used the Ooze Shield in Simplify3D many times as well.
