3D Printing Candy

I had the opportunity to play with the KatJes Magic Candy Factory. It’s a 3d printer, manufactured by Printrbot, that 3d prints candy! To do this, it heats up a gummy candy mixture in what they calls a Zummie. The Zummie has the nozzle and a plunger, and the machine uses standard gcode to push the plunger while moving it around. That’s how we get 3d printed candy!

The candy? It’s TASTY.
